I have designed a flag for Lancombe Pond, the imaginary
country in which my new novel The
Obscurati Chronicles is partly set. I have had it as a mental image for
some time and I describe it in the sample chapter as: "an off-centre green
cross on a light blue background.", see: https://hpanwo-bb.blogspot.com/2019/12/the-obscurati-chronicles-sample-first.html.
I have edited the post to insert it into the sample chapter text. I might
adjust its appearance a bit. It seems an odd thing to do considering that the
completed novel will almost certainly contain no illustrations. The ones I have
put into the sample chapter post will not be in the published book. The flag
will remain just a verbal description. However, actually creating the flags as
real images brings the story to life for me and maybe readers will appreciate
