Roswell Rising review in Phenomena

Phenomena magazine has reviewed my new book Roswell Rising- a Novel of Disclosure. They gave it five stars, their top rating, and put it on its own page under the heading "this month's incredible book!" The review can be found on page 52 of the current issue, 89. It is free to download from this page: http://www.phenomenamagazine.co.uk/. The critic says: "At first glance, I thought this book was going to be a bit of a slog, however, that was not the case. I quickly became fascinated, wanting to know the very next outcome. This book is certainly different that what you may normally read, merging possible facts with a non-factual story line that grabs your attention immediately. Explore the Roswell Incident from an alternative angle. What if this was the start of world Disclosure, what would be the implications and how would humanity deal with it? This book would make an excellent movie and is most certainly a must read for any UFO enthusiast! This book is packed to the rim due to small print that keeps the price lower than other books of similar size." I'm glad they think Roswell Rising would make an excellent movie. If there are any film producers out there, I am willing to negotiate rights. Thank you very much Phenomena magazine! This means a lot to me because I know the editor Steve Mera; and he is very honest in his judgement. If he thinks something in rubbish he will say so.

Big Print

Following feedback from my first wave of readers, I’ve decided to change the settings of my book Roswell Rising- a Novel of Disclosure. I’m going to increase the font size from 9.5 to about 11 to 11.5. I might add a point or two to the bed as well. This is because of numerus complaints that the print is too small to read comfortably, see: http://hpanwo-bb.blogspot.co.uk/2016/09/small-print.html. Another problem is the bane of small publishers who cannot afford the fees charged by professional proof-readers; typoes. Before uploading it, I went through the copy several times to try and iron them out, but it’s impossible to eliminate them all. They still keep popping up at me again and again like a literary game of Whack-a-Mole. Spelling mistakes, bad punctuation, skipped paragraph indents etc. Therefore I’m going to try again to filter as many out as I can before changing the upload. Several people have asked me if I plan to release the novel as an e-book. The answer is yes. However this will take extra work. What’s more I’m concerned that any publication in e-book format will be jailbroken and the novel PDF’ed. I know in the modern world this is an inevitable outcome, but I don’t want it to happen too soon. I hope the new upload can be done without making it the formality of a new edition, with a different ISBN and all that red tape; it probably can. The editing and design will take me several weeks. In the meantime the existing book will remain available. The big difference this change will bring will be the book itself. Bigger print means a bigger book. I intend to keep it at the same trim size, therefore the new format book will simply be thicker. This means I will unfortunately have to increase the cover price, probably up to £10 or slightly more. So if you want to purchase Roswell Rising at its existing price of £9, you have a limited time left to do it.
